SIGGRAPH 2009

For three days in August, Digital Element attended the 36th Annual International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and International Techniques (SIGGRAPH), held this year in New Orleans.

Among other events, Digital Element attended demos of Studio|GPU and their Machstudio product line, featuring several communications plugins with Solidworks, Rhino, SketchUp Pro, and other 3D packages designed and developed by Digital Element. Don McClure, CEO of Digital Element, noted, "the realtime rendering capabilities of Machstudio are more than a workflow enhancer, they really change the feedback loop for artists, allowing them as much feedback as if they were working with paper and pencil or clay."

The plugins built by Digital Element for Machstudio Pro allow seamless integration of content created in other packages with MachStudio Pro.

The next Siggraph conference will be held on 26-30 July 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA.
